Natural Products Expo Asia Supports the Industry Growth
Standard Program to Increase Consumer Confidence in Products Promoted in Show

Consumers in Asia are losing confidence in products safety and environmental standards. Organic products can be a positive choice for consumers in these markets but the major challenge is to figure out how to gain their confidence. New Hope Natural Media, the organizer of Natural Products Expo West, East and Asia, has taken a leadership role in the industry, creating a standards program for exhibitors who participate the shows. This can offer a sense of security to all coming buyers and visitors of Natural Products Expo Asia 2012. The goal of Standards Program is to enhance public health and safety, support industry self-regulation, and foster the responsible growth of industry. The program is also intended to increase the accuracy of information provided to the public and assist them in making educated decisions.

It is know that the natural organic standards vary in different countries, especially within Asia Pacific Region. Therefore, Expo Asia brings you not just quality products but also attentive consultancy services. Supported by Organic Food Development Center for the Ministry of Environment Protection, PR China (OFDC), Hong Kong Cosmetic Technical Resources Centre (HKCTR), Hong Kong Organic Resources Center (HKORC), Hong Kong Food Science & Technology Association as well as other associations, consulting booths are set up in assisting buyers to import cosmetics, foods, organics & natural products to HK and other Asian countries, or explain the regulations in these regions.

Despite the economic turbulence in 2012, organizers are glad to see a significant increase in exhibitors' participation as compared to last year of the same period. With the help of Health Supplements Industry Association Singapore (HSIAS) and Consulate of Brazil, Singapore and Brazil Pavilion will be appeared for their first-time ever in coming show. Together with Thai Spa Association, City of Sapporo, United States of America – Department of Commerce, Australian Trade Commission, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, UK Trade & Investment, more pavilions can be found.
