Nutracon Asia 2012 – Workshop on Asian Organic Market Update 
Dear Supporters,

Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre (HKORC) will co-organize the Nutracon Asia 2012 again with the New Hope Natural Media and Penton Media Asia Ltd.  The theme of the workshop this year is “Asian Organic Market Update”. 

Asia is emerging as a bright spot on the organic development in both exports and domestic consumption.  Just China alone, the sales of organic food reached over USD1.3billion in 2010.  This workshop aims to provide participants with updates on the Asian organic market development, regulation and certification requirements.  Special highlights will be put on the new China organic legislative requirements and its impact on organic production.  You will also receive updates on the consumer market trends in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.  Our esteemed speakers from IFOAM and the organic sector will share with you their expert views on the opportunity and challenges on tapping into the Asian organic market, and their practical experiences in cultivating the grounds for a successful establishment in organic trade and business.
